I'm not very familiar with Dominion Theology/Eschatology but I'm always skeptical of those who think God's ends are to be pursued through worldly systems. Taking the world for Christ is an evangelistic and discipling endeavor, not a political and governmental one.

Very well stated. There are many who are rushing to find the spiritual feeling and manifestation of gold dust rather than Jesus. They take time to rush to get somewhere where their might be gold dust, but what fruit does it bear? I have asked and the answer seems to be unknown except that they know that angels were around them. It is demonic and is robbing God's people from the truth.

I personally agree with you that it appears (from your description of the book, I myself have not read it as of yet) that the author is advocating a theologically troublesome idea with regards to the role of women, as it definitely seems to indicate an un-Biblical hierarchy. I do not, however, agree with you that the idea of Adam being both male and female is un-Biblical, precisely because it is simply not something that is addressed in the Bible, therefore I must conclude that it is not something that has ramifications concerning the story of Mankind's salvation, i.e., the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. God created both male and female "in His likeness", ergo we must assume there is a prominent feminine aspect of God, and unless you wish to say that there are parts of God that are subservient to others (which would, to me, be un-Biblical), we must conclude that God's feminine and masculine aspects are equal in prominence. I see no way in which this is 'threatening' or 'shocking' to those who would hold Orthodox beliefs, of which I am one.

We are trapped between a rock and a hard place,it seems. We can either vote Republican, who worship jews and cost us trillians in military.Or we can vote for communists, homosexuals, baby killing, let murderers out on the street, global warming nuts. What are we supposed to do here?I agree that the apostate church has cost us bigtime, but they will repent when things hit bottom, and they learn how they have been decieved by false prophets.I still cannot vote for such a vile party as democrats, even though I fight to draw my family members from the one world church.God will punish the one world church with a communist movement,be carefull not to join that either,or you will be next on the big mans list. This is nearing the end of this age!!!!!

Jackie,

I apologize for taking so long to respond to your post. As I explained to Mark, I have been doing a lot of traveling the last two months for seminary classes and to visit my father who had a very serious stroke a year ago. My wife and I know of a very dear couple who have been very adversely affected by the teachings of Dr Shaw. It was the motivating factor for my purchasing the book to read for myself what she was teaching. I was shocked! Perhaps, not so much that someone would teach heresy, but that the leaders of the modern church have "gone along with it" or, at best, "chose to ignore it all these years." Shameful.
